SIMPLE ELOQUENCE





What can I say?
Need I
Yes
But expressions pale
Comparisons falter
Such simple eloquence

A mirror
Perfection in process
Reflection in being
Difficult progress
Until meeting
So easily understood
Transparent nakedness
I felt
Lost in translucent now
You expressed
Coincidence
Vowed we left
Together

Musing care
We spoke of things
Matters of importance
Graceful awkwardness
I leapt
Deep into your eyes
So bold
Alive
One evening's life
Contrived just for us

From first glance
Consumed eternity
You hold my essence
Gently allowing
Release
Free for flight
My sight blinded
In radiance
Forever shadowing
Whatever is behind
Walking into the light
While disappearing
Back into your eyes

All night life
Expressed beauty
Fruited bountifully
Birthed
Lived heroic
Energy manifested
Personified essence between bodies
Unseen oceans flow and flood
Evolving epoch chasm between
Splits seconds and blinks eternity
Then dies into sleep

I watched your beauty
Dancing quietly
As you slept
Next to me
Wondering if
We would kiss
Again
In the morning
